Recap: inVia Robotics at ProMat 2023

ProMat 2023, the largest North American expo and trade show for professionals working in the supply chain, warehouse, and distribution industries, was a resounding success, breaking attendance records with more than 50,000 attendees and featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors.

inVia showcased its proprietary automation solution and a live picking challenge. During the show, CEO Lior Elazary delivered two on-floor seminars on modernizing warehouses with existing resources and without major investments in infrastructure.

inVia Picking Challenge:

Can you pick faster than 600 UPH?

We created a mini version of a warehouse within our show booth so attendees could compete in a picking challenge and see first-hand how the inVia PickerWall “Totes-to-Person” automation can deliver a 5X productivity increase over manual processes.

More than  100 show attendees competed in the inVia Picking Challenge. The highest daily pick rate won the Bose SoundLink® speaker. The top pickers were Victoria Brown from Nike (996UPH), Justin Cho from UNFI (780 UPH) and Jisu Kim from Floatic (1170 UPH).

inVia PickerWall robotic automation allows for maximum efficiency in your warehouse. inVia Picker robots deliver inventory containers to inVia PickerWall where workers are directed on how many units to pick and which order containers to sort them into. Our robots are decoupled from shift work, retrieving and storing inventory containers on one side of the wall, while people work in bursts on the other side.

On video: two-time champion Jisu Kim picking at the inVia PickerWall. Jisu’s pick rate was 1170 Units Per Hour!
