Heading to Chicago for ProMat 2019 next month? Here are some robotic diversions to explore while you’re in the Windy City.

ProMat coincides with National Robotics Week, so what better time to pay a visit to the Museum of Science and Industry and check out the ToyMaker 3000: An Adventure in Automation exhibit, where you can watch the entire process of manufacturing a toy on a modern assembly line.

You can also attend one of the museum’s Robot Block Parties and see robots designed by Chicago-area student and amateur teams in action.

Looking for a place to stay? Book a room at Hotel EMC2, which has a restaurant named after Albert Einstein and two robotic concierges named Leo and Cleo that deliver room service and greet guests in the lobby.

Finally, take a class at the Robot City Workshop or plan a night on the town with someone special and attend Robot Date Night.

And be sure to visit inVia Robotics at Booth #S3684 at McCormick Place during the show.
